Location was convenient for the Conwy Half Marathon for me but also for lovely rural Wales, the coast and the impressivel Conwy Castle. The hostel offers full English breakfast for just £4.95 in a clean airy attractive dining room with awesome views over the countryside afforded by its position high above the town. Staff were friendly, caring and informative. I will be back!
No complaints for £13 a night!
Great accomodation, superb views and lovely staff.
Really comfortable beds. Everything clean and tidy. Fabulous little town with awesome scenery.
Nice reception lady.
Scramble eggs mixed with water or something.
Game Room, self catering kitchen & hot breakfast option to choose
EVERYTHING. Budget friendly place, amazing kitchen, everything was there, and i mean everything. Beautiful surrounding. Friendly staffs. Enjoyed my stay thats for sure.
I like youth hostels, and this one was great. Very basic rooms, of course, but a really nice cafeteria with a play room for little ones and a bar! Beautiful views of the bay, Snowdon mountains and the old Norman castle.
A little hard for our GPS to find - we got there after we finally saw the signs.
Amazing location, lovely atmosphere in hostel. Very helpful staff.
Room was extremely hot as it was sunny but only one tiny window to open, so that was uncomfortable. Staff seem to push the meals at the hostel, this is a bit much as many people will have already planned to self cater.
Fantastic staff. Friendly and helpful. Dining staff were brilliant at accomodating us even though they had two large groups to feed. Great food and lovely for our children too. Children's toy/book corner was really useful for us.
Beds were really uncomfortable. Didn't sleep well at all. Shower in our room had a fixed shower head. Very difficult to shower the children.
We loved the spaciousness of the hotel and the staff were extremely friendley and helpful.
Despite the double-deckers, the quad room was comfortable albeit a bit cramped. I light the reading lights & plug point for each bunker. a big plus point is the self-catering kitchen complete with gas cookers, microwave & fridge and cutlery/crockery. ample free parking. walking distance into town, including convy castle.
The shower is a bit odd - you need to turn the water fast before the hot water comes out; otherwise, only room temperature water.
The views, the location, the comfort - it is the best yha we have stayed in (of three ,so far) We loved it.
I have not stayed at YHA before but felt it was good value for money. YHA Conway was in a good location with good facilities. Would stay with YHA again
The staff are always very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble to make you feel welcome. They create a fantastic atmosphere.
We needed 1 night as were staying in a cottage for following week. Having not 'hostelled' for a few years (and some of our group for many years) it suited us perfectly. Breakfast was hearty and unhurried, bunk beds comfortable, and great having ensuite shower room. We already plan to stay next year.
